Walk The Talk

Do as you say you would! If you are someone who “walks the talk“, you perform actions consistent with your claims. But why do people need to Walk The Talk?

Well, it is one of the best ways to build credibility and trust.

This principal and invitation to do good is summed up in the hadith of our Prophet PBUH: “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people.”

ISNA’s Walk the Talk program is based on this and other principles of Islamic dawah.

Support the community, help those in need, and improve our society.

Come join us in events organized to benefit and build surrounding communities. Together we will be serving local parks, neighborhoods, and places of worship in the GTA including Mississauga, Hamilton, Oakville, and Toronto. Each expedition has a special theme such as gardening, cleaning, shoveling snow, and donation drives for various social and community causes.

Volunteers are the driving force behind all activities, and they’re always very excited to be part of fun and purpose-filled work. Walk the Talk events not only provide an excellent opportunity for participants to nurture their leadership skills, but they also allow them to “Put their Faith into Action”.

Finally, by planting smiles on every face–regardless of their race, religion, or gender–we will be able to create a better community.

NOTE: As a result of COVID-19, Walk the Talk activities have been temporarily suspended.
