As a Chartered Professional Accountant, I have 40 years of extensive taxation and accounting experience with particular emphasis on tax compliance and financial reporting. I worked in various capacities for public and private corporations and took retirement in December 2019.
As a Chartered Professional Accountant, I have 40 years of extensive taxation and accounting experience with particular emphasis on tax compliance and financial reporting. I worked in various capacities for public and private corporations and took retirement in December 2019. My last job was as consultant with IG Wealth Management. Prior to that, I was Tax Manager at Rogers Communications (11 years), Tax Manager at Colgate Palmolive (4 years) and Senior Financial Accountant at Bard Canada (16 years). I achieved success through managing programs efficiently and by achieving desired results for the organizations.
My vision for ISNA Canada is that ISNA Board members should strive in enabling the community to align the Islamic belief and values in our daily life. ISNA Canada should continue building programs and offering services for our youth and elders that will provide motivation and encouragement for better future for all. I will make sure that ISNA Canada Bylaws are reflective of Islamic values. I would work with other Board members to make sure that Government rules and regulations are adhered to at all times to ensure the legal and ethical integrity of the organization.
