Mustafa's contribtion statement

As a nominee for the ISNA Canada Board of Directors my main goal in this election is to share a vision with you where ISNA Canada leads with faith, serves with integrity, and grows with unity.

My connection to ISNA is not new. Itโ€™s personal, proven, and rooted in over 20 years of active memberโ€” including during some of the most challenging times during Covid 19., Iโ€™ve had the privilege to step in when ISNA needed stability, leadership, and results.

But what sets me apart is not just my experience but itโ€™s my commitment to delivering real impact in an organization with history such as ISNA.

If elected, my contribution will focus on:

1. Strong Governance โ€“ Upholding Islamic values while ensuring our bylaws, finances, and operations meet the highest legal and ethical standards.

2. Community-Centered Programs โ€“ Expanding meaningful services for youth, families, and seniors so ISNA remains a trusted space for every generation.

3. Sustainable Growth - Strengthening our national presence, supporting local chapters, and building partnerships that secure ISNAโ€™s future for decades to come.

I donโ€™t just talk about transparency cause I believe every candidate should be transparent.
I donโ€™t just believe in unity because Iโ€™ve worked across differences to build it and I believe we have the strength to overcome any differences we have as an Ummah.

This is a critical moment for ISNA Canada. We need leaders who bring more than good intentions, we need those who bring clarity, strategy, and compassion. I bring all three.

And I promise to lead with humility, to serve with purpose, and to always keep our communityโ€™s trust at the heart of every decision.

I am here to contribute, not just to the Board, but to a stronger, more united ISNA Canada.

4. Charitable involvement in Canada:
I have been contributing to various charitable organization including ISNA throughout my stay in Canada. I love to contribute to organizations who shares similar vision and have big impact on the muslim community. The most prominent ones that comes to my mind right now is NCCM, National Zakat Foundation and Islamic Relief to name a few.
