By Allah’s Grace another year has passed, and for millions of pilgrims that have travelled to Islam’s holiest city Makkah, the journey of Hajj has come to an end. ISNA Canada would like to extend its warmest greetings to those who have embaraked on this journey and for all Muslims, Eid Mubarak. Alhamdullilah, we are entering into the last month of the Hijri calendar, Dhul-Hijjah. As the year ends, it is a time to reflect upon ourselves and to ponder about the year ahead. Our goals, our aspirations, how many of them include seeking the pleasure of Allah? Where do we stand in our commitment to serving Allah?
It is important to remember as we go through the motions of daily life; our purpose in this world. It is easy to become distracted with our jobs, our families, and our social commitments; however it is imperative that we seek to improve our souls, our hearts, our spirits. Inshallah we pray that the duas and sacrifices made by pilgrims around the world during Hajj are accepted. ISNA Canada wishes the Hajjis a safe return and a blessed Eid Mubarak to all!
