Assalamu Alaikum

Alhamdulillah, so far, the Islamic Co-operative Housing Corporation Ltd. has sold shares worth almost THIRTY MILLION dollars out of an Authorized Capital of THIRTY MILLION dollars and, has purchased housing units for over FIVE HUNDRED AND FOUR Muslim families. At present, the Housing Co-operative has transferred around ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY FOUR housing units back to its members. These members had purchased all the required shares i.e., equal to the cost of their housing units. They surrendered those shares to the Co-operative and, in accordance with the "Occupancy Agreement" their housing units were transferred to them.

Due to the Authorized Capital limit on ICHC shares, a new co-operative named ANSAR CO-OPERATIVE HOUSING CORPORATION LTD. (ACHC) was incorporated. ACHC is functioning exactly the same way as ICHC and is managed by the same Board and from the same office. Moreover, there is no maximum limit on the sale of ACHC shares. So far ACHC has sold shares for more than TWENTY ONE Million Dollars and purchased ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN houses for its members, Alhamdulillah. Untill now, ACHC has also transfered FOURTEEN Housing Units back to its members.

Common Shares Application form is for both new AND old Common shareholders. Please make cheque payable to Muslim Communities Association or M.C.A.

New Membership Fee: Please send us a separate cheque for CDN $75.00 payable to the Islamic Co-operative Housing Corporation Ltd. or I.C.H.C. (Only first time)

Preferred Shares Application form is for Preferred shareholders, i.e., members who have already bought a house through I.C.H.C.  Please make cheque payable to Muslim Communities Association or M.C.A.

Notice for Prospective Home Buyer:

For existing members of ICHC to apply for the purchase of House or Payment of Mortgage you must submit Occupancy Statement  and Description of Real Estate Property.

Before you put an offer you must get a possible closing date from the Islamic Co-op's office and that date will be valid for a week only. You have to reconfirm that date if negotiation takes more than a week. The Contents of APPENDIX "A" must be included in your offer.
